LTE-capable Galaxy Note 10.1 to be available at Verizon on March 7

Samsung has announced that an LTE-version of its Galaxy Note 10.1 Android tablet will be available online and at Verizon Wireless retailers this Thursday. The tablet will cost $599.99 for the 16GB version?about $100 more than the Wi-Fi only version with 16GB, and $50 more than the one with 32GB of storage.

The Note 10.1 features Samsung's signature S Pen embedded right into the chassis, as well as a 1280?800 resolution display, a 1.4Ghz quad-core processor, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. The device comes standard with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Samsung's SAFE enterprise features.

Verizon Wireless will offer prepaid data plans for the tablet device, and existing customers can add the Note 10.1 to their Share Everything plan. The Galaxy Note 10.1 will join the 10- and 7-inch versions of the Galaxy Tab 2 and the 7.7-inch Galaxy Tab at Verizon Wireless.
