Bargain Hunter: Free management advice for artists in Glendale - LA ...

Artist, musician or small-budget arts organization -- you can reserve a spot at the Los Angeles County Arts Commission's free "Arts Tune-Up" for expert advice and information on various aspects of arts management. The fast-paced event takes place Oct. 27 at the Glendale Central Library, 222 E. Harvard St.

Here's how it works: Participants rotate from table to table to consult with different experts on topics of interest, including arts education, in-school resources and working in arts education for K-12, fundraising and understanding health insurance and health care reform. Five 25-minute round robin sessions repeat from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
